VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
About 60 children enjoyed VBS this week! This year we had a sports camp for grades 1-8 and " Bird Tales" for 3K-Kindergarten. We thank the youth and chaperones from Good Shepherd in Burnsville, MN, Pastor Kaesmeyer's former church, who conducted the sports camps and helped with the youngerstudents as well. Other teachers and helpers were: Jamie Walta, Amy Wasser, Rachel Wasser, Holly Friend, Keely Keese, Katie Gregoles, Kristin Lemke, Emily Wise and Briana Lazzaroni. Coordinator was Kris Walta. We also thank Kristine Leonard, Norma Steltenpohl and Margie Smith for helping serve treats, and those who provided the treats!
CHURCH PICNIC
Our annual church picnic will be today right here at church, following the 10:30 service. We will serve apig roast, hot dogs, and sweet com with all thetrimmings. There will also be a short concert by theband "Branches". Bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on for the service, and there are numerousactivities being planned for all ages, with lots of fungames. No need to sign up - just plan to join us forthe fellowship and fun!
ADULT BIBLE CLASS AND FELLOWSHIP
This class will meet on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel. Bring a sandwich. If you need a ride,please call the office.
VOTERS' MEETING
Our annual voters' meeting will be held next SundayJuly 25 at 12 noon. Items on the agenda include the proposed budget for July 1, 2010 to June 30, 201 10, recommendations by the Coordinating Council of Elders, and other items for discussion. A light lunch will also be served. All voters and other members areencouraged to attend!

SOFTBALL
First Lutheran plays in a men's softball league on Friday nights in Lake Geneva. Come and cheer us on! This week's game is at 9: 15 at Veteran's Field behind Wal-Mart. Guys 18 and over can play.

Summer office hours: Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
REMINDER
As we enjoy our summer months with vacations and activities, let us remember in thanksgiving to bring
our offerings to the Lord for the times when we are gone from God's house.

We have a nice selection of boxed and individual greeting cards in the library, as well as a variety of journals. Stop in, enjoy the display, and shop today!

Our members can enroll in an electronic offering program at any time. Forms for direct payment of
offerings are on the table in the front entryway.

Hospital on Thursday and has returned home. Please keep all of them in your prayers.
COUPONS FOR SERVICEMEN
Please bring in your coupons. Servicemen can use all coupons (except restaurants). Coupons are good for six months past the expiration date. If you can cut them out before you bring them in, that would help.

BENEFIT
A benefit is plarmed on Saturday, August 21" for 3 year old Sawyer David Jahns, son of Shore land High
School Alumni Chad and Beth Jahns. Sawyer has a medical condition that does allow his stomach to
empty at a normal rate. The benefit will help offset some of the bills from equipment, formula andtherapy that insurance does not cover. Please seeadditional information on the bulletin board by theoffice.

OUR LIFE OF STEWARDSHIP
Out of love for the Lord Jesus, 197 came last Sunday to worship our Lord and 177 were strengthened in
their faith through reception of the Lord's Supper. Cheerfully given for the Lord's work at home and
abroad: $ 7,864.25 in regular offerings and $ 900.00 in school tuition.
