About Us
First Evangelical Lutheran School exists as an important part of First Evangelical Lutheran Church to assist and support parents with the Christian education and training of their children. It was started in 1977, and today has 54 students in Kindergarten through eighth grade. We also operate Little Lambs pre-school, which currently offers 3 and 4 year old sessions. New this year is our before and after school childcare. The program will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. and then again from 3:25 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The cost will be $3.75 per hour for this service. We will also be offering an afternoon care program for the preschool from 11:30 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. Please call the church office for more information on these programs.

Mission
The mission of First LutheranSchool is to assist parents in their God-given responsibilities, to provide a Christ-centered education to all children, to share the Gospel, and to teach the children to serve the Lord now and in eternity.

Preschool-12th Grade
We offer Christian education from Preschool through 12th grade. We have joined with 21 other congregations to operate Shoreland Lutheran High School in Somers, WI. It is a Christian high school, with exactly the same goals, objectives and teachings that we have at First Lutheran. Their web page has more information!

One of God's greatest blessings to our school is its teachers. We presently have six teachers, each of whom is a devoted teacher, and a loving Christian, who looks to pass that Christian love on to their students.

There are sure to be some questions which these pages do not answer. If you have any questions, or if you are interested in First Evangelical Lutheran School, please e-mail our principal, Peter Lemke, or call us at 262.248.3374.
